Papua New Guinea coffees have a bright and delicate acidity, an apple "wine-iness" that sets them apart from the other Southeast Asian coffees. Papua New Guineas offer a more delicate, refined and lighter body than Javas.
This is an excellently balanced coffee, with a smooth finish, interesting fruity overtones, and hints of cocoa, caramel, spices.
New Guinea is Earth's second-largest island. It lies just north of Australia and is divided down the center between the country
of Papua New Guinea (on the east) and Indonesia's Irian Jaya province (on the west).
Coffee cultivation started in 1937 with seeds imported from Jamaica's Blue Mountain region. Rich volcanic soil and some of the most ideal climatic conditions combine to produce a mellow yet aromatically complex coffee.

The Swissgold filter system was developed as an alternative to the paper filter
to allow you to get the best tasting coffee possible.
Due to the absorbent properties of paper, all fats are removed from the liquid
being filtered. This means that not only are the coffee-grounds retained, but
also all the flavor carriers in the coffee (brewing colloids).
With the Swissgold Permanent filter, the solids are separated mechanically
from the liquid by the pores of the permanent filter preserving the aroma, genuine
and original flavor of the coffee. Additionally, the solid gold plating is neutral
which eliminates every negative influence to taste resulting in an absolutely
pure cup of coffee!
