This is a wonderful new crop Java traceable to the Java Jampit Estate on the Ijen Plateau in eastern Java.
Java Jampit is fully washed and provides a cup that is clean and smooth, with sweet notes of chocolate.

General Flavor Observations
Java Jampit
Java Jampit coffee offers an exotic flavor profile, with a velvety mouth-feel, smooth body, and above average sweetness.
The body is full, with abundant chocolate tones and highlights of vanilla, cinnamon, and almond.
This is an elegant Indonesian coffee to be sure, and not one to miss.
Roast Level Profile Notes
Java Jampit
While Java is a coffee that does quite well at most roast levels, I prefer a
Full City roast as it provides the best overall balance of qualities.
We are always happy to accommodate any roast level you prefer.
City Roast (light roast) - Preferred
With this roast, you are going to get a lot of herbal qualities and subtle earth; it's just the nature of this light
roast.
The chocolate tones will be like cocoa nibs, with hints of almond,
peach, and vanilla.
The body is still smooth and the finish a bit crisper with definite notes of cinnamon.
If you want to experience pure Origin Characteristics, then this is a good choice.
Full City Roast (medium roast)
For the best balance of body, spice, and acidity, this is the sweet spot.
The mouth-feel is very smooth and honey sweet; the body full, and the finish long and soft with notes of cinnamon and almond.
Chocolate tones are plentiful with hints of sweet vanilla.
I really love the coffee at this roast, and it makes for an incredible Single Origin Espresso.
Full City (+) Roast
Our Full City (+) roast will add more depth and silkiness to the profile.
The velvety mouth-feel is complimented by sweet notes of caramel/toffee, darker chocolate, with hints of walnuts and cinnamon on the lingering finish.
This will be a silky-smooth cup with exotic spices that will do well with milk for extra creaminess, and one that many will prefer.
Vienna Roast
A Vienna roast will provide a bolder, fuller body, with plenty of dark chocolate, spice, and extremely low acidity. The
cinnamon notes will be lost, but you will gain an impressively deep cup with a long syrupy finish.
Great as an after-dinner coffee or with dessert.
French Roast
Not recommended.

Java Jampit
Java Jampit is fully wet processed (unlike Sumatra and Sulawesi), producing a distinctly clean cup with low acidity, big body, and a syrupy finish.
Java Jampit Estate, on the Ijen Plateau in eastern Java, was founded in 1900 by the Netherlands-based Davit Bernie Administatie Office and is today managed by the state-owned enterprise PT Perkebunan Nusantara XII.
The Jampit Estate is involved in programs that focus on plant healing and fertilization, as well as benchmarking and improving productivity.
The estate is also home to a washing station, drying patio, lab and cupping room, guest house and strawberry garden.
